Hot Winter Nights at Piano Bar Ballarat
Hot Winter Nights are back for 2026 and this year they’re bigger than ever, with 11 incredible shows across June, July and August at Piano Bar Ballarat.
This year’s program brings together an incredible mix of shows, from nostalgic throwbacks like The Countdown Years, to high-energy touring productions including Sydney’s Hot Shots Male Revue. There’s trivia nights like Friends Trivia with HollyPop, plus a huge lineup of tribute shows celebrating icons such as Spice Girls, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and David Bowie, before finishing the season with the crowd-favourite country spectacular ‘The Oh!down’. With something for every music lover and plenty of sing-along moments along the way, it’s shaping up to be one of our biggest winter programs yet.

SILVERFOX and LISA EDWARDS (John Farnham Band) celebrate Australia’s longest running music television show, ABC’s COUNTDOWN
In a 2 hour show with recorded narrative by Gavin Wood (original Countdown host), featuring original video clips from an era when television ruled our world. When Molly said "do yourself a favou" we rushed to our nearest record store, mullets flowing in the wind because our "music guru" had spoken.
Non stop hits by JPY, MONDO ROCK, DRAGON, INXS, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, BRYAN ADAMS, BILLY JOEL, TINA TURNER, BLONDIE, PAT BENATAR, MEN AT WORK, THE ANGELS are performed "live".
The Countdown Years, "an unforgettable evening of songs" which defined a generation.

The Australian AC/DC Show
Est. 1990 Formerly known as Dirty Deeds
Aussie DC – formerly known as Dirty Deeds from Melbourne Australia is the longest established AC/DC Tribute Band in the World.
Officially launched in 1990, this band has been a permanent fixture on Victorias Live Music scene ever since.
Aussie DC is an Authentic tribute to AC/DC, visually and sonically, therefore featuring the correct line-up, the look and that famous sound.
There are no short cuts taken or expense spared with Aussie DC in order to give audiences the experience of being at an AC/DC concert.
Our Lead Guitarist in School-boy Uniform wields a genuine Gibson SG guitar, not only playing the Angus Young parts correctly, he also looks and moves like Angus!
Lead Singer and founding member of Dirty Deeds, Alfi Rocker, does an incredible job covering both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson vocal styles.
Aussie DC has one of the tightest rhythm sections in Australia, using the correct equipment such as Gretsch, Fender, Sonar, Ampeg and Marshall Amplification.
